Why we built WhatChimp.

I am Anant Gupta, the founder of WhatChimp. I started building software in 2019, while I was still in college. I did not know much about marketing or scaling then, so I talked to every user, wrote every email myself and fixed problems as they came up. That habit of staying close to customers is still how we work.

WhatChimp came out of a problem I kept running into. The WhatsApp marketing platforms I looked at were limited, and they were expensive, often because of a markup added to every message.

So we built the platform we wanted to use: official, affordable and easy to run, for a business of any size.

Today WhatChimp is a Meta Business Partner, used by small businesses and large enterprises in more than 90 countries. We are self-funded, and we intend to keep earning our growth from the people who use the product.
