What a scenario can do in WhatChimp
Each of these is a module you drop into the scenario.
Send a message
Message the customer at the right step
Place the Send a Message module wherever the scenario should talk to the customer, after a payment, a booking or a status change.
- Runs on whatever starts your scenario
- Values from earlier modules fill the message
- Filters decide who receives it
Trigger a bot flow
Hand the customer to a chatbot flow
A scenario can start one of your WhatChimp bot flows for a contact, so the conversation carries on by itself from there.
- Start a reorder, a survey or an onboarding flow
- The bot asks, branches and answers as usual
- Your team steps in from the shared inbox when needed
Subscribers and labels
Keep WhatChimp’s contacts in step with your tools
Create a subscriber when a customer appears in another tool, update them when something changes, and label them for the next campaign.
- Create, get, update and delete a subscriber
- Create labels and list the ones you have
- Read conversations when a scenario needs the history
Any API call
Reach the rest of WhatChimp with one module
When no ready-made module covers what you need, Make an API Call reaches any endpoint of the WhatChimp API with your account’s token.
- Message status, templates, sequences and notes
- The same token your account already has
- The response is yours to use in the next module
- 0% markup fees
- Official WhatsApp API
- Meta Business Partner

What teams ask before they start. Can’t find your answer? See every question or chat with our team.
Is there a WhatChimp app on Make?
Yes. The WhatChimp apps on Make are built by members of the Make community, not by WhatChimp or Make. They use WhatChimp’s own API, the same one available to every account.
Do I need to code?
No. You build scenarios in Make’s visual editor by connecting modules. Make an API Call is there for the cases where you want an endpoint that has no module.
Can a WhatsApp event start a scenario?
Yes, through a webhook. Add Make’s webhook module to your scenario and point a WhatChimp webhook at its address, for incoming messages, button clicks, form submissions or catalog orders.
What can a scenario do in WhatChimp?
Send a message, start a bot flow, create, read, update and delete subscribers, create and list labels, read conversations and call any other API endpoint.
Can I send any message I like?
WhatsApp’s own rules apply. Free-text messages are delivered inside the customer’s 24-hour window, and approved templates are used outside it.
