Create a WhatsApp Message Template #
To personalize messages for each customer, use WhatChimp’s message templates with dynamic variables.
How to Create a Default Template: #
- Navigate to WhatsApp Bot Manager on the dashboard.
- Select your WhatsApp account.
- Click Message Template > Create Default.
- Four default templates will be generated automatically.
- Click Check Status to ensure WhatsApp has approved them.
Set Up Abandoned Cart Automation #
Once templates are approved, set up automation to send messages when a cart is abandoned.
How to Set Up Automation: #
- Go to WC/Shopify Automation > Click Create.
- Enter a Campaign Name.
- Select Shopify as the store type.
- Choose your Shopify Store API.
- Select Abandoned Cart Recovery as the action.
- Set a Message Delay (default: 30 minutes).
- Choose a Message Template (default or custom).
