Prerequisites #
Before you start, make sure you have:
- A WhatsApp Business Account connected to WhatChimp.
- WhatsApp Cloud API access (if you plan to sync templates from WhatsApp Manager).
- A clear idea of your message content, including any variables, buttons, or footers needed.
Once these are set up, you can follow the guide to create and use your message template in WhatChimp! 🚀
1. Go to the Bot Manager #
- Click Message Template
2. Adding Variables (Optional)
- Scroll down to Template Variable
- Click Create → Enter a variable name → Click Save
3. Creating the Template
- Scroll up to Message Template Settings
- Click Create and fill in the form:
- Template Name → Give it a name
- Message Body → Write your message (insert variables if needed)
- Footer Text (Optional)
- Quick Reply (Optional) → Select if needed
- Button Text → Add button text if needed
- Click Save
4. Using the Message Template #
Before using the template, check if its status is approved. Once approved, you can use it for:
- Broadcasting
- Live chat
- Shopify & WooCommerce messages
