Steps to Integrate Shopify with WhatChimp #
- Access Integration Settings
- Log in to your WhatChimp account.
- Click on Integration in the left sidebar.
- Select E-commerce, then click the New button.
- Choose Shopify and enter the following details:
- Profile Name – Your store name or any identifier.
- Store Sub-Domain – Your Shopify store’s subdomain.
- Admin Access Token – Required for authentication (see below for steps to generate it).
How to Get the Shopify Admin Access Token #
- Log in to your Shopify Admin Panel.
- Navigate to Settings → Apps and Sales Channels → Develop Apps.
- Click Create an App, enter a name, and confirm by clicking Create App.
- Go to Configure Admin API Scopes and grant read and write permissions for:
- Order Editing
- Orders
- Click Save.
- Under API Credentials, click Install App, then Install.
- Click Reveal Token Once and copy your Admin Access Token.
Finalizing the Integration #
- Paste the Admin Access Token into the corresponding field in WhatChimp.
- Click Save to complete the integration.
