Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- WhatChimp account
- Meta Business Suite login credentials (Facebook login details).
- The phone number you want to migrate.

1. Accessing Your Connected Phone Number #
- Visit https://whatchimp.com/phone-numbers
- Click on Connected Phone Numbers.
- This will take you to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) where all connected phone numbers are listed.
- If you have multiple business profiles, select the correct one from the top-right corner. If the option to switch is not visible, refresh the page.
2. Deleting Your WhatsApp API Phone Number #
- Identify the phone number you want to migrate.
- Click on the Delete icon next to the number.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Enter your Meta password when prompted.
- Select the reason for deletion (e.g., “Changing BSP” or “Deleting a test number”).
- Click Delete to remove the number from your previous BSP.
3. Removing Your WABA Account from the Previous BSP #
- Visit https://whatchimp.com/business-settings
- Choose the correct business profile associated with your old BSP.
- Find the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) that was linked to your previous BSP.
- Click on the three dots next to the WABA account.
- Select Remove from Business Profile.
- This will completely detach your account from the previous BSP, allowing you to register it with Whatchimp.
